DIRECTIONS TO MERCER COUNTY
PARK – HUGHES
DRIVE SOCCER FIELDS
From North or South using Route 1
When traveling South on Rt. 1, stay in right lanes as you approach
the Home Depot/Best Buy/Wegmans shopping ctr.
- Exit onto Quakerbridge Road, Rt 533 South, towards Hamilton
- Count 5 lights - you'll be bearing left past the 5th light onto Hughes
Drive
- The left onto Hughes drive comes
about half mile past Village Road, just where there
is a blue "H" sign for Hospital,
- There is also a tree nursery
on left corner wher you are making a left onto Hughes Drive
- Continue on Hughes
Drive until you see the entrance to the Mercer
County Park
entrance.
- DO NOT USE THIS ENTRANCE, instead
go about 100 yards and turn left onto a gravel road just across from Woodmere
Apartments.
- Two soccer fields on your left
are #9 and #10 where we play. Park car on the gravel road. Field #8 is on
your right behind the trees.
- Note if you miss the left turn onto Hughes drive, from Quakerbridge Rd.,
go to the next light (Mobil Station) and turn left onto Young Rd.
- at end turn right onto Hughes Drive and then follow instruction # 5 above
Using NJ Turnpike going South
Use Exit 8
(this exit comes after exit 8A in about 10 minutes going south on NJ Tpk.)
After tolls take Rt. 33 East (yes East), for about half a
mile to Rt 133.
**Take Rt. 133 West all the way to the end to Rt 571.(Princeton-Hightstown
Rd.)
Take Rt. 571 West, to first light and turn LEFT onto Old
Trenton Rd. There is a Getty gas station.
Follow old Trenton Rd.
for about 5 miles, (Old Trenton Rd. is named Edinburg-Mercerville Rd.
as you get closer to the park)
Turn RIGHT at 3rd light onto Hughes
Drive.
(Hughes Drive
is past one of the entrances to Mercer
County Park
(do not take it),
(and just past Mercer
County Community College)
Once you turn right onto Hughes Drive,
go past an entrance to Mercere County Community College
and you will pass soccer fields on your right,
turn RIGHT onto a gravel road just across from Woodmere Apartments.
Two soccer fields on your left are #9 and #10 where we play.
Park car on the gravel road. Field #8 is on your right
behind the trees.
If you see another main entrance to the park, turn back, you
missed the gravel road.
From Freehold, Marlboro and points East:
Take Rt. 33 West to Rt. 133 West to the end to Rt 571.(Princeton-Hightstown
Rd.)
